Matter is, I do not care whether a book not worth reading in the source language is translated poorly or not. It`s masterpieces crippled that makes me see red.
What about you folks? In your country and language, is something being done about poor literary translations? I would be really grateful to hear from you! You are welcome to comment in your mother tongue (I can read Bulgarian and French and Lithuanian and Polish and Russian and some Spanish and, just so-so, German, and what I cannot read I suppose I can get translated), but English would be preferable here, even if your English is not perfect.
