Hi Liliana! Long time no see! Glad to have you here, you are a Friend in Need.
Would you recommend any books recently published in your country and worth reading, even if not extremely popular? Thanks!
In fact reading in Puritan America had been considered a sin. Only reading the Bible was ok. In fact, one of my favorite books is The Dwarf, By Lagerkvist
All the Best Liliana
Well, nowadays reading might not be considered a sin, but it certainly seems to be, to put it mildly, objectionable. Or whence the horrible adaptations?
I would recommend any of the novels by Leslie Mormon SIlco. SHe is a Native American write, or at least partially native. Her novels are full of something indescribable
What is special about the novels? I mean, what makes you personally like them? Is it the style, or the kind of stories, or something deeper?
A readaholic, therefore a very good literary translator.Sense of humour weirdish.
